Sarah Perrin is a writer and assistant editor at Doubleday. She received an MFA in creative writing from New York University, where she was an adjunct professor and the fiction editor of Washington Square Review. Previously, she was an assistant editor at Alfred A. Knopf.

Her writing has appeared or is forthcoming in Granta, Passages North, Pithead Chapel, and Flash Frog. Her short story “Just Girls” won the 2025 DISQUIET Literary Prize for Fiction. A graduate of Duke University, she was a fellow at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts and has been supported by Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference, the DISQUIET International Literary Program, and Community of Writers, from which she received The Ruth Nyswander Del Duca Memorial Scholarship. She is working on a novel.
